Those last days in Pittsburgh required me to ‘lean not on my own understanding’, but to trust God with all my heart. With my piano in storage and my earthly belongings reduced to a few boxes I was now ready to go to Florida to stay with son David and his family while awaiting further direction and the blessings God had promised me.
Many people look for excuses to avoid required change when a God-nudge arises. “I’m too old!”, “I don’t have the experience”, or “I’m too shy!” The biggest blessings in my life came after I had submitted to changes that the Lord presented to me. Like Abraham, I was given promises, but now must put action to my faith. “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go into the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out not knowing where he was going!” (Heb. 11:8). Where was I going?
So here I am now in Florida, having just launched my newly published book, and beginning my blog for you! Let us DREAM BIG and believe for one another that:
THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
